This is "Boxed Up", which is free to play on Steam, here! A first-person work simulator where you take on the role of a parcel sorter in a chaotic warehouse environment.
This was created during the Collaborative Games Development module at the University of Staffordshire in 2025.
I oversaw all of the audio for the project, including the soundtrack, was a member of the production team and also created the gameplay trailer, here on the right! See below for my process within these areas and the work I did for the project.

I was the only audio designer in the team, so I gathered all assets, designed templates in Logic Pro for the radio's voicelines, monster sounds and even created a soundtrack for the game.
During this project, I had the support of an audio designer as an industry mentor from EA's Criterion Games studio. They gave advice on asset gathering and how to structure my workflow.
I also implemented audio in Unreal Engine through MetaSounds for the warehouse ambience, conveyor belt, radio music and more.
Please see below for some captures of my work throughout the project -
For my producer role, I created documents which gave the team detailed information on the dos and don'ts of the planner we were using in Microsoft Teams.
This meant everybody was clear on the processes and allowed the leads to efficiently create and assign tasks for their respective teams.
Alongside this, I would lead meetings between the producers and leads to discuss milestones, support requests and encourage collaboration to achieve our end result.
Snapshots of the documents and planner can be seen, below:
Playing through the game's final builds, recording as I went, gave me footage to cut together in DaVinci Resolve to create the gameplay trailer. I have experience from my cinematics piece, Fremen Future, with using DaVinci and was able to manually add all SFX, voicelines and music to the gameplay footage to make the final gameplay trailer, which you can see here!
I created the soundtrack for the game's opening title & menu screen, too. This can be heard at the beginning of the trailer!
BandLab was a useful tool with a drum brush sample and then created the piano, double bass & saxophone parts through midi creation. I have experience of being a musician, having been a singer & bass guitarist for 16 years, so there is music theory to call upon. This allowed me to create something simple and effective for the game and I was proud considering this was my first venture into composing on my own without other band members / musicians.
